Acosta Danza will perform at the Teatro Real in Madrid, one of the most important stages in Europe, on October 22nd, 23rd and 24th, with a program called "Evolution" that collects well-known works from his repertoire.
The public that attends the functions will be able to enjoy the choreographies "Satori", by Raúl Reinoso; "Paysage, soudain, la nuit", by the Swedish Pontus Lidberg and "Twelve", by the Spanish Jorge Crecis, performed by the company's cast. Attendees will also enjoy a performance by Carlos Acosta who will dance to the pieces "Mermaid", by Belgian Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui and "Two", by Russell Maliphant.
These performances will mark the debut of the Cuban company in the Spanish capital. The Teatro Real de Madrid hosts dozens of opera and ballet performances per season, as well as an extensive program of concerts, recitals and other activities. First-rate figures such as the tenor Juan Diego Flores, the soprano Anna Netrebko and companies such as the Marinsky Theater Opera in Saint Petersburg and the Royal Mint Theater in Brussels have performed on its scene. In this season of performances, together with Acosta Danza, the National Ballet of Spain and the Ballet of the Bolshoi Theater in Moscow are announced.
