Acosta Danza, with the general direction of the Principal Dancer Carlos Acosta, will begin a tour through different regions of Spain with the show "Tocororo Suite", a selection of dances from the well-known show "Tocororo, Cuban fable", created by Acosta in 2003.
The Cuban artists will be performing on July 22nd and 23rd at the Jovellanos Theater in Gijón and on July 29th at the Palma de Mallorca Auditorium.
The Spanish public will also be able to enjoy the show on August 5th, at the Parque Almansa Municipal Auditorium in San Javier. On Monday the 8th Acosta Danza will perform at the Palacio de los Festivales de Cantabria, in Santander and, on August 1th , at the Roman Theater in Sagunto.
"Tocororo..." is a show inspired by customs and characters of Cuban social culture, in which the limits of classical ballet, modern dance and folk and popular dances are blurred.
