The company directed by Carlos Acosta will be presented on Saturday, June 3 at the Grieg Concert Hall in Bergen, as part of the International Arts Festival held in that Norwegian city.

The program of this performance, the last of the international tour that the company is doing, will present several titles already known: The crossing on Niagara, choreography by Marianela Boán on the homonymous play by the Peruvian writer Simón Alegría; Fauno, by the Belgian Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, inspired by the mythical Siesta of a Faun by Vaslav Nijinsky; Two, choreographic solo by Russell Maliphant, to be performed by Carlos Acosta, and Around There is Nothing, by Goyo Montero, with a soundtrack based on poems by Joaquín Sabina and Vinicius de Moraes. The show completes the version of Carlos Acosta de Carmen, the well-known novel by Prosper Mérimée.

The cuban artists, already applauded in Poland and Russia, will perform in Norway accompanied by the orchestra Royal Ballet Sinfonia, of the United Kingdom, directed by Paul Murphy.

Acosta Danza prepares for new international presentations and for a new season that will rise to the scene of the Great Theater of Havana in September of 2017 with important releases and repositions.
