Cuban dancer Carlos Acosta receives the award with the Coronation Queen Elizabeth II Prize awarded by the Royal Academy of Dance of the United Kingdom in recognition of his position as most influential figures in the current dance.

The Coronation Award of The Queen Elizabeth II is an honor given each year to people who have contributed significantly to the art of ballet and dance. Carlos Acosta received the Queen Elizabeth II Coronation Award at a special ceremony at the Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park in London, on Monday, October 15, 2018.
