Born in Pinar del Río, Corrales started his training in 2003 at the Art School “Pedro Raúl Sánchez” in the city he was born. In 2005 he traveled to the city of Camagüey to study at the Academy for the Arts “Vicentina de La Torre”. In 2010, after graduating as a dancer and ballet professor, he began to work with the Ballet of Camagüey, achieving the place of coryphée. He has danced traditional ballets like The Swan Lake, the pas de trois of the Fairy Dolls of the Ballet Don Quixote and Flames of Paris. His repertoire also includes the principal roles in historic ballets of Cuban choreographers like Muñecos (Toys) by Alberto Méndez, Majísimo by Jorge García, Nisi Dominus by Jorge Lefebre, El beso de la muerte (The kiss of the Death) by José Antonio Chávez, Copa de Ángel by Lila Martínez, Entre olas (Between waves) by Osvaldo Beiro and the contemporary ballets Peregrinos, Cantuus Perpetuus, Bolero and Benedictus, by Gonzalo Galguera.
In 2015 he became part of Acosta Danza. He performed as Don José in Carlos Acosta´s Carmen. Of Acosta he has also interpreted Tocororo Suite and the male protagonist role of Don Quixote (scenes). His repertoire includes choreographies such as Babbel 2.0, by María Rovira; Soledad, by Rafael Bonachela; Twelve, by Jorge Crecis; Paysage, soudain, la nuit, by Pontus Lidberg; Satori, by Raúl Reinoso; De punta a cabo, by Alexis Fernández (Maca); Rooster, by Christopher Bruce; Belles Lettres, by Justin Peck; Alrededor no hay nada, Imponderable and Llamada, by Goyo Montero. He toured with Carlos Acosta in his “Classical Farawell” and danced the pas de deux of the second act of Swan Lake and End of Time, by Ben Stevenson on stages in United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom and Hong Kong. As a member of Acosta Danza he participated in the film Yuli, a film about the life of Carlos Acosta, directed by the Catalan Icíar Bollaín.
